Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 25, 2026

This policy explains what TopSellerStats collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers the website and the analytics service (together, the "Service").

1. What we collect

  • Account data — your name, email address and password hash; your plan and billing history.
  • Marketplace data — the credentials or tokens you supply to connect a store, and the business data we read with them: orders, sales, fees, refunds, advertising spend, inventory and product attributes.
  • Data you enter — cost of goods, operating expenses, tax settings and anything else you type into the Service.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, pages visited and error logs, used to keep the Service running and secure.

We do not collect consumer payment card numbers. Card details are entered with our payment provider and never reach our servers.

2. Why we process it

To provide the Service you asked for: importing your marketplace data, computing profit metrics, showing reports, sending service notifications, taking payment and providing support. We also use aggregated, non-identifying data to understand which parts of the Service are used and to improve them.

For visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, our legal bases are performance of a contract (providing the Service), legitimate interests (security and improvement) and consent where the law requires it, such as for non-essential cookies.

3. We do not sell your data

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not use your business data to trade, to benchmark you against other customers publicly, or to train models for anyone else.

4. Who we share it with

Only with providers that help us run the Service, and only with what they need: cloud hosting, a payment processor, an email delivery provider, and error and performance monitoring. Each is bound by a contract to process the data on our instructions. We also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers.

5. Where it is stored

Data is hosted on servers in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your data is transferred to and processed there. For transfers from the EEA or the UK we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep it

Account and marketplace data is kept while your account is open. If you close it, we delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except records we must retain for accounting and tax purposes.

7. Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS. Marketplace credentials are stored encrypted, access to production systems is restricted and logged, and backups are taken regularly. No service can promise perfect security, and we do not claim certifications we have not obtained.

8. Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data, and you can revoke a marketplace connection yourself at any time.

  • If you are in California, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.
  • If you are in the EEA or the UK, the GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to complain to your supervisory authority.

Write to us at the address below and we will respond within the time the applicable law allows.

9. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the Service to work — signing you in and keeping your session — and analytics cookies that tell us how the site is used. You can refuse non-essential cookies in the banner, and you can clear cookies in your browser at any time.

10. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data; if we learn that we have, we delete it.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. If a change is material we will give notice by email or in the Service before it takes effect, and the date at the top will change.
